The Seal of Cask Marque's Approval!
January 2013 .....
We are very proud to be a Cask Marque Accredited Pub, and have successfully passed yet another unnanounced, beer quality inspecton by the Cask Marque Trust!
All three of our Cask Ales passed with full marks, a total of 20 out of 20 for each.
An independant assessor has tested all our cask ales on sale for their temperature, appearance, aroma and taste before awarding the prestigious status.
An assessor will call twice a year to randomly spot check the quality of our ales assuring you of our committment to providing the best possible real ale in the area!

Although we no longer need to source our cask ales through SIBA's Direct Delivery Scheme we remain members of the Society and continue to support our local & independant brewers.
