Tour de Yorkshire

Following on from the success of last year's Grande Depart, 2015 sees the first ever Tour de Yorkshire and during Stage 3 the peloton will pass right through our part of the world!
We will be leaving The George at 12.30pm prompt for a short walk to a great vantage point ready to be in place for when the race reaches Denby to cheer the riders on!
We'll then take a steady stroll back to be greeted by a Giant Homemade Pie & Peas with some great live music to listen to!

We will be supporting the Countryside Restoration Trust at their event in Margaret Wood off Gunthwaite Lane, Upper Denby this Spring.
Come along and discover this beautiful semi ancient woodland.
Enjoy a celebration of the dazzling Bluebells with various local food and craft stalls, children's activities, bar, refreshments, BBQ, live music, guided walks, talks and demonstrations.
