We have some amazing and beautiful Yorkshire countryside right here on our doorstep. With footpaths and bridleways heading out in all directions it doesn't take long until you're taking in breathtaking views or exploring tranquil glades.

 

Our Pie & Pea Walks are usually around four miles in length and are very relaxed affairs, heading off from The George on foot with a reward of Homemade Pie, Peas and Roast Potatoes waiting for us on our return.

Please book in advance as all our Pies are made fresh for the walks.

Unfortunately we don't have any walks planned for the foreseeable future due to the social distancing restrictions currently in place.
